Allen F. Semasko

Allen F. "Smiley" Semasko, 56 of Acme, formerly of Johnstown passed away suddenly at his home on December 31, 2022.  He was the son of Doris Jean Civis of Johnstown and the late Albert F. Semasko.  He is survived by the love of his life,  Christine Kerekes Semasko; children, Zachary and Kylie Pilot and Alex Semasko. Allen was a dedicated, loving husband, a loyal family man and a great father.  Allen is also survived by his siblings, Debra Semasko (Steven Burgess) of St. Petersburg, FL, Lee Semasko ( Dee Stewart) of Latrobe, Michael Semasko (Maggie Kinol) of Hobe Sound, FL,  Diane Metzgar (Rick Perrine) and Laurie Semasko both of Johnstown and a sister in law, Nikki Kerekes Urban ( Robert Cramer) of Shippensburg; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many friends/family who loved him dearly.  Allen was employed for over 25 years by RotoRooter as a municipal foreman for heavy highway construction equipment. He loved the outdoors and was passionate about fishing and hunting. His greatest passion was prioritizing spending time with his wife and children. He was an enthusiastic Steeler fan and loved gardening and cooking polish and slovish foods.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC 730 W. MAIN STREET MT. PLEASANT.  Parting prayers will be held at 9:30am Thursday in the funeral home followed by Allen's funeral mass at 10am in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant.
