Andrew P. Schwab

Andrew P. Schwab 66 of Scottdale passed away Wednesday February 18, 2015 at the Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. Andrew was born June 6, 1948 in Mount Pleasant the son of Margaret Stouffer Schwab of Scottdale and the late John J. Schwab. Andy was a member of the former Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Mount Pleasant and had attended the St.Vincent Basilica Parish in Latrobe. He was a 1966 graduate of Southmoreland High School, attended Penn State University and graduated from California University. Andy was employed as a fiberoptics professor at Westmoreland County Community College and was also employed by Verizon as a switchman. In addition to his mother, Andy is survived by his sisters, Janet Moore and husband William of Cresson and Karen Furst and husband John of Mount Pleasant; nieces and nephews, Kerri Howell and husband Jay, Edward Gaborko and wife Curry, Dina Gaborko and Scott Moore; great nieces and nephews, Alexandria, Savannah and Andrew Howell and Edward Gaborko, Jr. and Sarah Gaborko; also aunts, uncles and many cousins. The family is inviting friends from 10 to 11 AM Monday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant where a blessing service will be held at 11AM Monday with Rev. Richard J.
