Antonette L. Zeglin, 96 of Mount Pleasant passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at St. Anne's Home, Greensburg. Antonette was born May 2, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Klamerus Jagoda. Antonette was a member of the former Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church and current member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. She was an active member of the Transfiguration Rosary Society and was a former employee of the cafeteria department for the Mount Pleasant Area School District. Surviving are her children, Daniel F. Zeglin (Carole Ann) of Mt. Pleasant, Regina M. Kennedy of FL and Monica A. Johnson (Bruce) of Greensburg; grandchildren, Melissa Zeglin Alesi, Angela Zeglin Johnson, Cristie Zeglin , Timothy Zeglin, Kathryn Kennedy Wadsworth, Ryan Johnson, Kelly Johnson Hauser and their families as well as a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Zeglin of Latrobe and godchild, Sister Anita Bienia in Rome. In addition to her parents, Antonette was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 2002, a son, Thomas C. Zeglin, son-in-law, Michael Kennedy, a brother, Stanley Jagoda and a sister, Magdaline Zubach. Family and friends are invited from 2 to 6 PM Wednesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where a blessing service will be held at 11:30AM Thursday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Dennis Bogusz as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Transfiguration Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at 3PM Wednesday, followed by the recital of the rosary by the Transfiguration Rosary Society in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Memory of Antonette may be made to St. Anne's Home 685 Angela Drive Greensburg, PA 15601.
