Arvetta J. 'Veta' McCloy

Arvetta J. 'Veta' Barnhart Mc Cloy 79 of Mt. Pleasant (Buckeye) passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her home. Veta was born January 25, 1936 in Hammonville the daughter of the late Carl R. and Evalyn Hebenthal Barnhart. She was a 1953 graduate of Ramsay High School, a member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church, was formerly employed at the Woolworth Store, Bryce Brothers Glass and Lenox Crystal, Mt. Pleasant until her retirement. Surviving are her sister, Janet Stone and husband Edwin, a brother Carl (Joe) Barnhart and wife Nancy, brother-in-law Kenneth Myers, step-daughters Candace Vlachos, Kelly and Knut Gruelich and their daughters; also numerous wonderful nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Veta was preceded in death by her husband Richard B. McCloy, a son, Michael Barnhart; step-sons Gregory and Blaine McCloy; sisters and brothers- in- law, Hazel and Frank Ruschal, Betty and Louis Zahrobsky, Norma and Merritt McCloy and Doris Myers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Janice Barnhart and Neil and Ella Barnhart, a niece, Norma Sestock, nephews, Kerry Zahrobsky and Ricky Myers and great nephews, Michael Hohider and Mitchell McCloy. Friends are invited from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Sunday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant where services will be held at 2 PM Monday with Rev. Timothy Auer officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her thirty year old niece Emily Schadel who is recovering from a stroke.
