Bernard C. Lindstrom, 83, of Acme, passed away on August 29, 2012 at his home. Bernie was born on April 23, 1929 in East Longmeadow the son of the late Axel and Sylvia Bassette Lindstrom. Bernie was a Korean War veteran serving with the Marine Corps, a graduate of American International College and a member of ACRE-American College of Real Estate. He was formerly employed by Honeywell and Rexnord corporations as a sales engineer and former vice president of Scottdale Wood Products. Bernie had a great business and inventive sense always searching for new and challenging projects. Surviving are his wife, Michele Mastrean Lindstrom; son Bernie Lindstrom and wife Cara of Upper St. Clair; grandsons, Jakip, Alex and Ray Lindstrom and a brother Robert Lindstrom and wife Pat of Summerfield, FL. The family is inviting friends from 4-6PM Friday to the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL SERVICE, INC 730 W.
