Betty C. Pershing

Betty C. Pershing passed peacefully Sunday April 2, 2017 at age 93. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA., predeceased by her husband, Daniel D. Pershing; son, Dennis Pershing and mother Elizabeth Spaugy Ritenour.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharyn (Michael) Johnson; grandchildren, Colleen (Michael) Woods, Erin (Scott) Vandeburg, Chelsea Johnson; great grandchildren, Brayden, Lily, Clara and Nora Vandeburg, Hadley and Tessa Woods, as well as family in the Mt. Pleasant area. Betty was active as a pastor's wife at Park Ridge Free Methodist Church, Rochester, N.Y. as well as churches in the PA. area including Natrona Heights, Penn Hills, Apollo, Washington and Greensburg. Special thanks to all the staff at Aaron Manor for the loving care they provided.

The Family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 West Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, PA
where services will be held at 10:30 AM with Pastor Deano Pulice officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlick Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, PA Donations in Betty's name may be made to: Park Ridge Free Methodist Church 10 Straub Rd. Rochester, NY 14626.
