Carl Brent Marker

Carl Brent Marker also known as Butch passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Frick hospital. He was the oldest son of Carl, V, Marker, and Donna M Biller Marker born May,13,1960. Beloved Lifelong Companion to Charlene Shawley of 42yrs. Stepfather to Calvin Shawley since he was 3yrs old and Father to his son Joshua Brent Marker who passed away in July 2008. Dale Marker was Butch’s only brother and they enjoyed going hunting and fishing with each other & friends over the years. A close bond they shared as Butch was best man to his brothers wedding & God Father to his daughter Alexis. Dale and Amy Marker brother and Sister in Law. Brenda & Jeff Walther sister & Brother in Law, several nieces Stephanie,Emily,Anne,Amanda & Alexis. Butch worked for years at the Pepsi Cola plant in Kecksburg & he worked half days while in school and then went full-time after graduating. He really loved Hunting & Fishing all his life. My greatest consolation is knowing that Butch & his son Joshua are together for eternity with our Savior Lord Jesus Christ. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12pm to 1pm on Thursday at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC 730 W. Main Street Mt Pleasant where services will be held at 1pm.
