Carmen R. "Scutts" "Ghia" Case 71 of Mt. Pleasant passed away April 23, 2016 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Carmen was born December 26, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant the son of the late Carmen and Mary Fiesta Case. Carmen was a member of St. Pius X. Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant, Shaft Club and life member of the Bridgeport Sportsman's Club. As a lifetime member of Mt. Pleasant, Scutts was a member of the former St. Bernadine Roman Catholic Church where he served as an altar boy and had many friends, some knowing him as Scutts and some as Ghia. Surviving are his children, Darren Case and Rachelle "Shelly" Rimel and husband Carl of Mt. Pleasant, Marla and Laura Case of Adelanto, CA; eight grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Scutts was preceded in death by his sisters Rosemary Christman Whitney and Delores Case. Friends are welcome from 9 to 10AM Saturday, April 30, 2016 to the Visitation Roman Catholic Church 740 W. Walnut Street Mt. Pleasant where a mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM with Rev.
