Charlotte Jean Brougher

Charlotte Jean Brougher, 94 of Mt. Pleasant (Bullskin Twp.) passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Hillside Estates, Connellsville. Charlotte was born February 28, 1925 in Acme the daughter of the late Glenn L. and Bessie Coffman Bruner. Charlotte was a member of the Paradise United Methodist Church, Naomi's Circle and Homer Hoke Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Pleasant Valley Grange. Surviving are her children, Donald Brougher (Clara) of Connellsville, Duane Brougher (Bonnie) of Scottdale, Darrell Brougher (Michele) of Mt. Pleasant, Shelley Pechart (Randy) of Stahlstown and Sherry Yeckel (Dan) of Donegal; grandchildren, Gretchen Moy (Steve), Jill Walters (Dan), Hattie Etling (Jason), Bonni Jo Springer (Jay), Nicole Thom (Ian), Jerod Brougher(Christina) and Cody Brougher; Great Grandchildren, Garrett and Ella Etling, Jack and Leah Moy, Lucy, Eva, and Jonah Brougher, Tristen, Lowen and Tyten Springer, Kam and Ethan Thom and Henry and Rose Walters; brothers, Glenn Bruner of Indian Head and Earl Bruner of Uniontown; a sister, Betty Ann Bruner of Tavares, FL and also numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Brougher and by sisters-in-law, Bobbie Lou and Helen Bruner. The family would like to thank the staff of Hillside Estates Suites and Amedisis Hospice for their care of Charlotte. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Charlotte may be made to the Paradise Methodist Church 105 Hoke Road Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 8 PM Sunday at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 11:30AM Monday with Rev. Roger Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Bullskin Twp.
