Darrell K. Thomas

Darrell K. Thomas 89 of Mount Pleasant passed away Sunday,February 5, 2017 at Excela Health, Frick Hospital Mt. Pleasant. Darrell was born May 4, 1927 in Mount Pleasant a son of the late Henry P. and Myrtle Fultz Thomas. Darrell was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God and a retired self employed carpenter. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Florence Bungard Thomas; children, Keith Thomas and wife Sandy of Acme, Darlene R. Ellenberger of New Alexandria, Arlene Thomas of Mt. Pleasant and Marvin J.R Thomas and wife Cheryl of Acme; grandchildren, Loriann Blashaw and husband Don, Brian and David Thomas. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Lawrence Ellenberger and a sister Dolly Weiss. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Wednesday and 12 to 1 PM Thursday at the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant where services will be held at 1PM Thursday with Rev. Robert Huber officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Twp.
