Dean Gomery Trice 60 of Mount Pleasant, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at his home. Dean was born August 7, 1952 in Mount Pleasant the son of Kenneth D. Trice of Mount Pleasant and the late Sandra D. Deluka Trice. Dean was a 1970 graduate of Mount Pleasant Area High School and a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trauger. He was the former proprietor of Country Chicken, Mt. Pleasant, was formerly employed for fifteen years by the Sony Corporation, East Huntingdon Twp. and most recently employed by the Hunting Energy Service, Latrobe. Dean was a member of the Scottdale Elks Club, Scottdale and the Assunta Club, Mount Pleasant. Surviving are his wife, Veronica Dzuirzynski Trice, daughters, Tiffani Trice Kolar and husband Jim of Mount Pleasant and Tricia Trice of Lincolnshire, England; a grandson, Tyler Kolar and granddaughter, Kendall Kolar; a brother, Dan Trice and sister Denise Trice both of Mount Pleasant and a sister, Deneen Rogowski and husband John and niece, Amanda Rogowski of Manassas, VA; a sister-in-law Theresa Condupa and husband Jack and brother-in-law Mark Hunchik and wife Laura all of Mount Pleasant;neohew, Jonathan Hunchik; nieces, Hannah Hunchik, Heather Harhai and husband George, Melissa Brown and husband Ben and Rachel Weir and husband Jesse; great nephews Landon and Jett and great niece, Sydney; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, Dean was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Leona Leeper Trice; maternal grandparents, Chris Dan and Pauline Gomery Deluka and mother-in-law Anna Dzuirzynski Hunchik. The family is inviting family and friends from 6 to 8PM Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Friday and 10-10:30 AM Saturday to the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, INC 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant (724-547-2122). Dean's funeral service will be held at 11AM Saturday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trauger with Rev. Mark Werner officiating.
