Dennis J. Greenawalt

Dennis J. "Greenie" , "Beans" Greenawalt, 58, of Mount Pleasant Twp., passed away on October 16, 2021 at his home with his loving wife and family by his side. Dennis was born May 7, 1963 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late James and Shirley Bright Greenawalt. He was a 1981 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School and was employed by Cooper Paving. He was a member of the Hecla Sportsman's Club, Hecla Firemens Club and the United Slovak Club. Dennis is survived by his wife, Jeannine Emerick Greenawalt; children, Samantha Herczyk (Michael) of Trauger, Brandon Greenawalt of Mt. Pleasant and Hanna Greenawalt; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Trent, Carson, Lillian and Isabelle; an aunt, Shirley Ritenour (Harrold) and numerous cousins. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Greenawalt. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. MAIN STREET MT. PLEASANT, PA where services will be held at 10:30AM Thursday, October 21, 2021 with Rev. Lee Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery.
