Dolores M. Leary

Dolores M. Leary, 91, of Hunker, PA passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born April 8, 1927 in Pittsburgh, daughter of Mary Joyce and Anthony N. Gaier. She was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Youngwood, PA. While Dolores was employed by a variety of companies prior to motherhood, her greatest joy was caring for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, George Thomas Leary, Jr.; loving children Carol Leary Tiberio (Richard), George Thomas Leary, III (Joanne), James Patrick Leary (Cindy); dear grandchildren Lauren Surbaugh (Jared), Lindsey Hanlon (Michael), Richard Tiberio, Jr. (Jessica), Rebecca Lengvarsky (Mark), Meghan Leary (Joe), Ryan Leary (Christina); and 9 sweet great-grandchildren; a cherished sister, Kathleen Merriman of Tampa, FL; and a beloved aunt, Rita Joyce of Cochranton, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dolores was predeceased in death by her brother-in-law, Robert W. Merriman. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial mass celebrating her life on September 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 148 E.
