Donald E. Kruse,75 of Mt Pleasant (Bullskin Twp.) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28 at his home with his family by his side. Donald was born August 22, 1948 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Albert and Josephine Bonner Kruse. Don was a member of Mt. Laurel View Church, Mt Pleasant and attended Morehead University KY and Indiana University, PA. He was formerly employed by US Steel Corp. and currently a proud self employed businessman in the food service business for forty years, widely known throughout the Tri-State area traveling with his wife to ski resorts, fairs and festivals. He was very outgoing and considered everyone he met was his friend. He loved the outdoors, hiking, biking, fishing and hunting, but most of all he loved his family, enjoying getting together and annual vacations. Don is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon Kyle Kruse; his children, Scott Kruse (Patty), Pamela Kruse (Jessica), Erin Fiore (Dax) and Nikki Kruse (Matt); grandchildren, Rachel, Alexandra, Tyrus, Emmerson, Nicholas, Josephine, Rad, Naomi and Teddy; brothers in law who considered him a father, John, Dave and Richard; sisters, Bonnie Hollis (Howard) and Ella Shirley Jakub (Robert); sister in law Mariann Kruse and nieces and nephews, Jeffrey, Pete, Beth, Kristy, Michelle and Jason, and others. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Kruse. At the request of Don, there will be no visitation or services.
