Dorothy Marie "Dody" Hendershot

Dorothy Marie "Dody" Hendershot, 95, of Armbrust, Hempfield Twp., passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Greater Pittsburgh in Greensburg where she resided for three years and made many friends.
She was born on December 31, 1922 in Armbrust a daughter of the late Lucetta Ballew & Walter T. Armbrust. Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband, Paul S. Hendershot who passed away on March 10, 1990.
She is survived by her son, Gary P. Hendershot and wife, Barbara of Kettering, OH. Two grandchildren, Kathleen M. Richie (Jeremy) and Eric J. (Jana) Hendershot of Centerville, OH; two greatgrandchildren, Nathan and Evie Hendershot of Centerville; a half brother, Gene Armbrust of New Kensingston, PA; a sister-in-law Ethel Hendershot of Marrieta, OH; cousins Theda Cusano and her son, Jerry of Norvelt, PA.
In addition to her relatives, Mrs. Hendershot is survived by her beloved neighbors, Toni Glavinic of Armbrust, PA and Sandra Cline of Youngwood, PA.
The Hendershot family would like to thank cousin Becky Bush and her family as well as the employees of RNC of Greater Pittsburgh for their care and support for Dorothy.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 7 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. in the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 W. Main Street, Mount Pleasant, PA 15666. Interment will follow in the Central Cemetery, Armbrust.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to hospice at 890 Weatherwood Lane, Greensburg, PA 15601.
