E. Lois Hails

E. Lois Hails, 93 of Greensburg passed away, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Walnut Ridge Memory Care.
She was born March 31, 1928 in Ligonier, the daughter of the late Davis and Elsie Berkey Clifford. Preceding her in death was her husband of 63 years, Hubert W. Hails and all of her 9 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her son, Mark Hails; daughters, Lana Dudash (Paul), Penny Purnell (Jim) and Pam Proudfit (Jim). Her beloved grandchildren, Bryce, Brian (Erika), Tammy, Chad (Lindsay), Christy (Ryan), Cory (Sarah), and Tyler (Emily) and 12 great grandchildren, Alec, Lily, Hunter, Rami, Quinlan, Miles, Elly, Reily, Zoey, Yasmine, Maggie, Jo and a great grandson on the way.
Lois was a 71 year member of the Armbrust Weslyan Church serving in many ministries, including teaching Sunday School, Bible School, CYC, Missions, Joy Fellowship and the Triple Teens. She faithfully served her Lord and Savior. She had a strong devotion to God and family, a day never passed that she did not pray for each of them. Lois and Hubert enjoyed spending time at their cabin in the woods near Seven Springs. She grew an extensive vegetable garden that she loved to tend and can food for her family. As an avid walker, in her later years she enjoyed her daily walks with her son Mark. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Harmony Home Care, especially Dina, who cared for her for more than a year. Also a special thanks to Walnut Ridge Memory Care and Excela Hospice, her nurse Dary Ann and aide, Heather.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Thursday, August 12, 2021 at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant and from 10 to 11am Friday at the Armbrust Weslyan Church, where services will be held at 11 am with Rev. Dan Mack officiating.
