Edward Lantz Jr "Bucky", 62 of
New Stanton died unexpectedly on October 30, 2023. Bucky was born on June 4,1961 Mt. Pleasant Pa.
The son of Edward Lantz Sr." Buck" and the late Gertrude Johnson. During his lifetime he attended Second Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant PA, and most recently had rededicated his life to God. Bucky attended Mt Pleasant Area High School class of1979. He played drums in the marching band.
Later he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Upon his discharge he enrolled in The Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts. Bucky was a hardworking jack of all trades. He enjoyed cooking, playing drums and his harmonica and motorcycles and muscle cars, but most of all laughter. Surviving are his father and stepmother Edward Sr.and Linda Lantz. Siblings Terri Lantz-Baldwin, Kirk D. Lantz and Teresa Lantz-Brown. Daughters, whom he adored Sheree Key and Mia Gilroy and Tristan his son, his dearest Love Danyel Lantz. Bucky is also survived by 5 grandchildren, nephews Chad and Shawn Lantz, 2 nieces, 8 great-nephews, 1 great-niece, and 1 great-great nephew. He was predeceased by his mother Gertrude Johnson, brother Darnell Williams and his youngest daughter Madison Gilroy.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 to 1pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Slater-Rega Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc where services will be held at 1pm Saturday with The Reverend Kevin E.
