Edwin J. Wojtanowski

Edwin J. Wojtanowski, 79 of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully on October, 21 2023 with his family by his side at Westmoreland Manor, Greenburg.  Edwin was  born August 29, 1944 in Connellsville, PA the son of the late Joseph and Wanda Wojtanowski. He was a 1962 graduate of Connellsville Area High School, a member of Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, Mt. Pleasant and the Polish Falcons and Slovak Clubs of Mt. Pleasant. Ed was formerly employed as a case worker for the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.  Surviving are his wife, Sue Null Wojtanowski; daughter, Mary Ellen Wojtanowski  of Mt. Pleasant, beloved granddaughter,Sadie Addison Sparks; sister,Wanda Elzeer of N. Olmstead, OH; special sister in law Kathy Kindsvatter and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his son, Marc Wojtanowski, brothers, Robert, Gene and Frank Wojtanowski and a sister, Bernadine Imgrund. The family would like to thank Westmoreland Manor and Bridges Hospice for their kind care of Ed. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11am on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish  353 Bridgeport Street Mt.
