Eliston E. "Butch" Carroll, Jr., 75 of Hunker passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Tuesday December 24, 2019.
Butch was born March 30, 1944 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Eliston E. Carroll Sr. and Margaret Wilson Carroll. He was a graduate of Andover High School and was employed as an automotive hauler for the Anchor Motor Freight Transfer Co for 35 years and was a sports fan who loved NASCAR.
Surviving is his wife, Cindy Bober Carroll, children, Kimberly Dawn Mallam (William, Sr.), Michele Cook and Eliston E. Carroll, III; grandchildren, Brittany, William Mallam, Jr, Matthew, Miranda, Rebecca, Camden and Dominick; a great grandson Johnny, "LJ"; sisters, Ellen Sparrow (John), Dorothy "Dottie" Biddinger (Gary); mother-in-law, Loretta Bober; sister-in-law Linda Kanala, brother-in-law, Henry Bober, Jr., niece and nephews, Kimberly, Mark and Michael; also great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by a step-son, Jason Carbaugh, sisters, Betty Grimes (Lester) and Marge Klob; father-in-law, Henry Bober and brother-in-law,Vince Kanala.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 to 3pm Sunday, December 29, 2019 at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant where a memorial service to celebrate Butch's life will be held at 3pm.
