Elizabeth J. Giannetti

Elizabeth J. Overly Giannetti, 77 of Cumming, GA formerly Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the Chestnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cumming, GA.  Elizabeth was born June 3, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late Harry E. and Gertrude Fox Overly. She was a 1964 graduate of Mt Pleasant Area High School and a former member of St Pius X Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant.   She was a former member of the Our Ladies of Mt. Carmel and former president of the United Ostomy Association, Greensburg Chapter.  Elizabeth was formerly employed by Millstein Industries as an assembler.  Surviving is her brother, Charles Overly (Rose) of Mt. Pleasant; and a nephew, Charles Overly (Angela) of Wyano.  In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Giannetti, a niece, Melanie Overly and a sister and brother in law, Elmer and Janet Marie Ruff.  Family and friends are invited to attend a blessing service for Elizabeth in the chapel of Transfiguration Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant on Saturday March 4, 2023 at 10am.  Interment will follow in the cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 730 W. MAIN STREET MT.
