Elizabeth (Liz) Mae Thompson 66 of Scottdale passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013at her home. Elizabeth was born December 8, 1946 in Connellsville the daughter of the late Christopher and Madelyn Forsite Lint. Elizabeth was employed by Scottdale Manor as a certified nursing assistant. She loved to crochet blankets that she donated to the residents of Scottdale Manor and their families and also donated homemade baked goods for local fundraising events, especially for the children of the Armbrust Christian Academy. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Harry J. Thompson; children, James Thompson and wife Rose of Scottdale and William Thompson and wife Amanda of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Danielle, Ashley, James and Melissa Thompson; siblings, Dolores Jones of Everson, James Lint and Michael Lint of Scottdale and Matilda (Tillie) Shaw of Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Jody and Joshua Thompson; brothers, Randy and Joseph Lint and sisters, Jody Ann Aller and Christine Lint; father and mother-in-law James and Mary Thompson. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Excela Health Hospice 134 Industrial Park Road Greensburg, PA 15601. The family is inviting friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Friday to the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, INC 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant (724-547-2122) where services will be held Saturday at 10AM with Pastor Tom Shirer officiating. Interment will follow in the Sewickley Cemetery, Herminie.
