Esther F. Isola

Esther F. Isola, 96, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026. She was born January 26, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant, to the late Frank and Stella (Wojtas) Nesgoda. Esther lived her entire life in Mt Pleasant and was of the Catholic faith. Esther enjoyed casinos, bingo and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Gary Isola and Cheryl (Bob) Foster, both of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Gary Jr., Andria, Erica, Kelly and Bobby; great grandchildren Brayden, Kate, Leah and Blake. Also surviving is her brother Robert (Donna) Nesgoda, of Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orlando A. Isola, Jr. and sister Jane (Jim) Buchanan.

Visitation Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC 730 West Main Street Mt. Pleasant. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Monday July 13, 2026 at 10 AM in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
