Florence J. Poole

Florence J. Poole, 91 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

Florence was born June 27, 1930 in Greensburg the daughter of the late Elmer F. Allhouse and Mabel F Deemer Allshouse. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mt Pleasant and was formerly employee of the sewing factory in Mt. Pleasant. She was an avid sewer and crafter, but her love was her family, baking and taking care of her husband and children.

Surviving are her children, Charles A. Poole (Peggy), Linda Morgan and Luann Vincent (Roger); 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Gerald Poole, Sr.; a great grandson, Dakota Bash; sons, Rev. Henry Gerald Poole, Jr. and Marshall H. Poole, a daughter, Kathy L. Poole Vance; brothers, Arthur, Elmer and Charles Allshouse and a sister, Dorothy Grevish.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday at SALOOM REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. MAIN STREET MOUNT PLEASANT where services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday with lay speaker Matt Davis, her grandson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
