Frank R Keefer

Frank R. Keefer 72 of Connellsville passed away Saturday April 19, 2025 at Rochester Manor. Frank was born in Mt Pleasant on December 2 1952 the son of the late George Keefer Sr. and Ursula Jahn Keefer.Frank enlisted in the Airforce where he attained the rank of Sergeant and honorably discharged in 1975. Although he only served four years in the reserves, he continued to be an avid patriot by supporting veteran memorials and fundraisers. He worked at Westinghouse as a technician for nearly 30 years. Even in retirement, he continued to have a strong interest in fixing broken electronics, tools, and vehicles. As a Harley Davidson fan, he particularly favored being a part of poker runs. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature. He planted an orchard, grew many variations of flowers, and had recently taken up beekeeping. He was a member of many clubs in the area, but he was most often found at the Bridgeport Sportsman's Club. He would support events in whatever way he could, then relax and share a laugh. He may have been a man of few words, but he was always ready and willing to help those around him. Surviving are his son, Mathew Keefer of Freedom and a brother Jake Keefer of Bullskin Twp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother George Keefer Jr. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Friday, April 25, 2025 at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC 730 W.
