Frank M. Weir 63 of Mount Pleasant passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Frank was born January 18, 1952 in Latrobe the son of Catherine Budny Weir of Mammoth and the late Frank T. Weir. Frank was a 1970 Graduate of Mount Pleasant Area High School and employed for 40 years by Keck's Bottling, Pepsi Corp now known as Pepsico in various positions, most recently as a Territory Sales Manager. He was a member of the Army National Guard Infantry Division and a member of St. Pius X Church Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Sandra Geyer Weir; children, Fran Weir (Julie Shultz) of Mt. Pleasant, Jesse Weir (Rachel) of Scottdale and Derrick Weir (Katie) of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Landon, Teeghan and Declan; brothers, Fred Weir (Mary Lou) of Kecksburg, Greg Weir (Leslie) of Acme, and Jeff Weir of Mammoth; sisters, Trish Swiderski of Greensburg, Marie Goulding (Ron) of Mammoth and Christine Prinkey of Ruffs Dale; a brother-in-law, Richard Gridler of Tombstone AZ; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. In addition to his father, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Paulette Gridler. The family is inviting friends from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8PM Thursday and Friday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant (724-547-2122) where a blessing service will be held at 9:30AM Saturday followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Pius X Church Mt. Pleasant with Rev.
