Genevieve L. "Jenny" (Radzilowski) Mazurik

Genevieve L. Mazurik, 90 of Markleysburg, PA formerly of Monarch passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the South Fayette Nursing Center, Markleysburg.

Genevieve was born January 14, 1927 in Everson the daughter of the late, Zygmunt and Louise Zajac Radzilowski. She was a 1945 graduate of Scottdale High School and member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Her pies were the best!

Surviving are her children; Frank Mazurik, Jr and wife Anita of Bridgeport, WV, Nancy Zatlokovicz and husband Rick of Adah, Michael Mazurik of Corry, Fred Mazurik and Alisa Behr of Meadeville and Jim Mazurik and wife Dana of Greensburg; grandchildren, Jill Strasser (Andy), Nathan Mazurik (Najela), Kristy Zatlokovicz, Julie Bell (Brian), Lori Sopko (Patrick), Michael Mazurik (Amy), Matthew Mazurik, Loryn Mazurik, Jordyn Trisket (Cale), Remington Lee Mazurik, Christopher Jones (Carla), Zackary and Kylie Mazurik; great grandchildren,Carter and Ava Stasser, Aubree, Finley, Anthony, Sophia, Johnathan , Everett and Carter;sisters, Eleanore Rega Bentley of Mt. Pleasant and Loretta Capo of Connellsville and a brother, Vince Radzilowski of Cleveland and also numerous nieces, nephews,relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Mazurik, Sr., a grandson, Kristopher Mazurik, brothers, Eugene, Ted and Zig Radzilowski and a sister, Alice Capo.

A special thank you to the staff of Amedysis, especially Hayley, and to the staff, nurses, and aides of the South Fayette Nursing Center for their compassionate care and kindness.

Friends are invited from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Tuesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where prayers of transfer with be held at 9:15AM Wednesday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception RC Church, Connellsville with the Rev. Bob Lubic as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Everson.
