Genevieve T. (Wisniewski) Pavick, 90 of Mount Pleasant passed away Sunday May 4, 2014 at the Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. Genevieve was born August 31, 1923 in Mount Pleasant the daughter of the late Casmir and Anna Wisniewski. Genevieve was a member of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church and the former Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church of Mount Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband Stephen A. Pavick, her sister, Helen Kaper and brothers Edward, Leo and Vincent Wisniewski all of Mount Pleasant. Surviving are her son Stephen E. Pavick and wife Paulette of Greensburg; granddaughters, Melissa Jo Fegely and husband Scott of Telford, PA and Laura McMahon and husband Tim of Greensburg and the joy of her life, her great grandchildren, Jude Fegely and Gavin and Emma McMahon; also surviving are her sister Regina Antonishen and daughter Karen of Mount Pleasant as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Genevieve's name to a charity of choice.The family is inviting friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Wednesday to the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant (724-547-2122) where a blessing service will be held at 9:30AM Thursday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Visitation Roman Catholic Church Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Transfiguration Cemetery. Please visit www.salomm-rega.com to send a condolence. Richard Rega, funeral director.
