George F. Musgrove 80 of New Stanton passed away Tuesday November 28, 2016 at Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. George was born April 21, 1936 in Yougwood the son of the late George F. Musgrove Sr. and Bessie Smith Musgrove. George was a Vietnam War veteran serving with the Army, a member of the band of the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department and attended the Albright United Methodist Church, Connellsville. Surviving are his step children, Richard Hamborsky, George Ross(Cathy) and Betsy Campbell (Charles) all of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Eleanor Sherman of Greensburg, Agnes McLean (David) of New Stanton and Barb Denning of Mt. Pleasant, a brother Larry Smith of Philadelphia, special friend and companion Lucille Hershberger and numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and step son in law, Regis Klinchock of Youngwood.. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Musgrove, June 4, 1999; a step daughter, Robin Johnson and her husband Robert, a step daughter Annabelle Klinchock and a brother, Donald Musgrove. Family and friends are invited from 2 to 8PM Thursday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 11AM Friday with Rev. Marvin Watson officiating. Millitary honors conducted by American Legion Post 446, Mt. Pleasant will be held Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
