Harold E. Stewart 82 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Excela Health Frick Hospital Mt. Pleasant. Harold was born August 28, 1931 in Blairsville the son of the late George and Bertha Altman Stewart. Harold was formerly employed as a coal miner and was retired from Spectra Services, as a bridge and building construction company superintendent. In his younger years he was a professional bowler, was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to play the harmonica and accordion, in later years began woodworking as a hobby, building small furniture and bird houses. He was a former member of the Ruffsdale Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are his children, Brenda Swartz of Mount Pleasant, Elaine Suda and husband Ken of the state of Indiana and Deborah Cain and husband Tim of Apollo; grandchildren, Heather Fisher, Tim Suda, Patrick and Katie McGinnis and Edward and Lindsey Swartz; great grandchildren, Brandan and Hayley McGinnis, Kaylie Fisher and Colton Cowan, and Buddy, his bird. Harold was the last member of a family of sixteen brothers and sisters. The family is inviting friends from 11AM to 1PM Friday, May 16, 2014 to the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W.
