Hazel S. Macey

Hazel S. Macey 90, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home with her children by her side. Hazel was born February 20, 1928 in Hecla the daughter of the late John and Hazel Vylet Precosky. Hazel was a 1947 graduate of East Huntingdon High School, a member of Visitation Roman Catholic Church and VFW Post 3368 Ladies Auxiliary, Mt. Pleasant and the Czechoslovak Society of America. She was the proprietor of Hazel's House of Charm and formerly employed by Ceroni's Coiffure's Mt. Pleasant. Surviving are her children, Ronald J. Macey (Susanne) of Mt. Pleasant and Patti J. Macey (Randy Nelson) of AZ; grandchildren, Kathy Jo King (Devin), Jason Hutter (Shannon), Andi Jane Steinrich (Jerry) and Chad R. Hutter (Christy); great grandchildren, Ashlee Peffer (Jason), Dylan King (Carly), Shelby Martz, Meghan, Kayla, Hannah, JJ, Ian and Kara Hutter; great great grandchildren, Lilly, Allison and Jacob Peffer and Addyson and Maddlyn King; and a sister, Mildred Sebek of Jeannette. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bernard J, Macey in 2001, siblings, Marie Posta, Louis Precosky, Emily Vaculik and James Precosky. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Friday at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where a blessing service will be held at 10 AM Saturday with Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating. Private interment will be in the Visitation Cemetery.The family would like to thank Excela Health Home Care and Hospice and a special thank you to Dary Ann, Jackie and her daughter-in-law, Sue for the loving care of Hazel during her illness. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Hazel may be made to Excela Health Home Care and Hospice 501 Otterman Street Greensburg, PA 15601.
