Hollie K. Rolla

Hollie Kathleen Rolla of Mt. Pleasant, age 80 passed away peacefully July 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Forbes Hospital. She was born in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late John and Tabitha Frye Rolla. She was a graduate of Hurst High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Donegal. She spent many summers in Hawaii on work-cations! and enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews. She retired as a guidance counselor at the Thomas Jefferson High School in the West Jefferson Hills School District where she was also a business teacher, English and social studies teacher. She was previously employed at Beckwith Machinery, Palco Inc and a counselor at Rehabilitation Clinics. Hollie is survived by her sister Iris Bert and brother Dale Rolla and wife Amy; also surviving are Nieces Mary Olinger (Roy), Crystal Hoke (Jim), Roberta Storey (Jeff), Melanie Cooper (Eric), Amber Leechalk, Nephew Deron Rolla (Meghan); Great Nieces and Nephews, Colleen McBride (Jason), Kyle & Kurt Olinger, Callie Neiderhiser (Luke), Priscilla Storey, Tabitha Cooper and fiance’ Corey, Caleb and Emma Leechalk and Conor & Declan Rolla; Great Great Nieces and Nephews, Jason McBride Jr. (Maddy), Jayden & Vonny McBride, Kane Matthews & Dallas Storey and the “ Loves of Her Life, her Baby Dolls” Jaxson, Judson and Jagger Neiderhiser and a great great great nephew Asher McBride. In addition to her parents, Hollie was preceded in death by brother in law, Eugene Bert and a special great nephew, Jimmy Hoke. Per Hollie’s request there will be no visitation or service.
