Howard P. Moriarty, 68 of New Stanton passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.
Howard was born November 15, 1950 in Mount Pleasant the son of the late Howard and Cora Kunkle Moriarty. He was a 1968 graduate of Hempfield Area High School, a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 23, Youngwood and the Hecla Sportsman's Club. He was formerly employed as a security guard and loved to hunt and fish.
Surviving are his children, Patrick Moriarty (Janice) of NC, Matthew Moriarty (Ashley) of Youngwood and Jessica Moriarty of Latrobe; grandchildren, Samuel, Trevor, Cameron, Karolyn, Taylor, Madison, Hunter and Savannah; a sister, Sandra Gower (John) of Tarrs and brother, Dennis Moriarty (Kathy) of Buena Vista.
