Jacqueline Layman

Jacqueline "Jackie", "Nan" Plahs Layman, 64 of Mt. Pleasant went to be with the lord on November 12, 2018. Jackie was born December 28, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late John and Betty Sherman Plahs. Surviving are her children, Terry Plahs and wife Angela of Mt. Pleasant and James Whitfield of OH; grandchildren, Brittany Jacobs and husband Eddie, Brandon Wyman, Christen Wyman, Devin Greenawalt, Shyann Plahs and Charlotte Marie Whitfield; great grandchildren, Gage Jacobs, Carman Rane Plahs, the little loves of her life, Ayden and Owen Brant and Lidia Wyman-Pruitt. Brothers and sisters; Sandra Goodwin (James) of Uniontown, John Plahs (Sherry) of Acme, Joe Plahs (Debbie) of Virginia, Connie Kropp (John) of Connellsville, Kimberly Hodgkiss (Dannie) of Scottdale, Cora Plahs of Mt. Pleasant and Chuck Plahs (Cindy) of Stahlstown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Plash Hash. Loved by many nieces and nephews and many other non related family, who loved her as a mother and grandmother, she was everyone's Nan. She will be sadly missed by all and will never be forgotten. Per the request of Jackie, there will be no viewing or visitation. Friends and family are invited from 2 to 6PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Maple Hill Apartments Office Mt.
