James "Spaz" L. Skrabski

James “Spaz” Skrabski, 72, of Acme, PA, passed away at Independence Latrobe Hospital on May 9, 2026. James was the son of the late Daniel and Kathryn Roseman Skrabski. He was a 1971 graduate of Sewickley High School and employed as a manager at Murphy’s Mart. He also worked at Volkswagen of America and retired from Online Stores. Jim loved music, especially the Beatles and the Kinks. He also was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Vikings, and Greenbay Packers. Surviving are wife Kim Skrabski, special nephews Kent Nowicki (Deanna), Craig Nowicki (Kim) and Brother in law James Burkholder (Helen). Additionally, nieces and nephews Tyler, Emma, Sophie (Danny), Anna and Rachel and nephew and niece Dan and Dana, and by his cat Lenny. In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Skrabski and sister Barbara Nowicki. It was Jim’s request there be no visitation or service. Memorials may be made to Action for Animals Shelter in Latrobe in Jim’s memory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Thank you for the days!
