James W Steiner, Sr

James (Jim) W Steiner Sr. a life long resident of Smithton, PA, passed away, at the age of 74 years, peacefully on April 19,2025, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born April 20, 1950 in Smithton, Jim is the son of Raymond G and Clara Lisbon Steiner. Jim was retired from US Steel Clairton Works. Jim enjoyed working on anything mechanical, travel, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.He was an active member of the Fort Allen Antique Equipment Association.

He is survived by his special companion Janet (Zelmore) Reid, of Mt Pleasant, PA. Daughter Jennifer Steiner of Mill Run, PA, son James W Steiner, Jr of Smithton, PA, granddaughter Kiera (Clayton) Shawley of White PA, siblings Irene Santello, Joann (David) Bowers, Esther Gillis, Robert Steiner, Ronald (Maribeth) Steiner, Bonnie (Greg) Schwab, numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded by his parents and siblings Edward Steiner, Mary Curran, Richard Steiner, Raymond Steiner, Audrey Breckenridge. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and 10 to 12 pm Thursday at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES., Inc 730 W. Main Street Mt Pleasant where services will be held at 12 pm Thursday with Rev. James Glisan officiating. Interment will follow in the Middle Presbyterian Cemetery.
