Jerry A. Nelson

Jerry A. Nelson, 65 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday March 22, 2023 at his home.  Jerry was born February 28, 1958 in Ruffsdale the son of Eugene D. Nelson, Sr. and Alma Jean Bungard Nelson. Surviving are his children, Erica Doppelheuer(Ben), Shane Nelson(Christina) and Jeremy Nelson all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Kaylee, Taylor, Teagan and Ryker; siblings, Eugene Nelson, Jr, of Mt. Pleasant, Trent Nelson of Florida, Kelvin Nelson (Kisa) of Scottdale, Kim Martin (Terry) of Florida and Tom Nelson (Jaydene) of Scottdale. Companion, Pam Byers and longtime friend, Mike Morrison (Jan).  In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by Leroy Nelson and Cheryl Nelson.  At the request of Jerry, there will not be any visitation, the family will announce a gathering to celebrate the life of Jerry.   Arrangements are under direction of SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 730 West main Street Mt.
