Judith R. Tylka

Judith Tylka 84 of Acme passed away Saturday October 28, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.  Judy was born  in Fitz Henry, PA the daughter of the late John and Idabelle Tissue Wilkie.  Judy was a member of the Wooddale Bible Brethren Church and a 1957 graduate of East Huntingdon High School. She was employed for 35 years as an elementary school teacher for the Mt Pleasant Area School District.  Surviving are her children, Deborah Hoadwonic and husband Nicholas of Mt. Pleasant, Len Tylka, Jr. and wife Jody of Acme and Jamie Mizikar and husband Thomas of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Billie Lynn and Benjamin Hoadwonic and Cody Mizikar and a great granddaughter, Cora..  In addition to her parents Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Tylka: a sister, Sandy Lane and brother John Wilkie.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 8PM Wednesday at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC 730 W. MAIN STREET MT.
