Kathleen Sterner, 75 of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side. Kathleen was born on October 28, 1949 in Mt Pleasant the daughter of the late, Jack and Marie Quashnock Tedrow. Kathy graduated from Mt Pleasant Senior High School, and was employed by Lenox Crystal for years before she went back to school to become a nurse and was employed by Harmon House where she later retired. She loved to bowl, throw darts, read and golf. She was a strong influence to so many lives. She is survived by her two children, Jason VanArsdale of Mt Pleasant and Keely Alcorn ( Clarence Ballew) of Mt Pleasant, a sister, Jackie Moss and her husband of EastGrove, NY. four grandchildren, Kiley VanArsdale of Scottdale, Chad Alcorn of New York, Nicole Alcorn of Mt Pleasant, Jake VanArsdale from SC. She also Had four great grandchildren, Ella, Timmy, Willow Scott, and Oliver Juart of Mt Pleasant and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents. Kathy was preceded in death by her late husband, James Sterner, a brother Larry Tedrow, aunts and uncles, Lawrence Quashnock, Elizabeth And Bill Bobbs from Ohio, Dorothy and Walter Plaza of Mt Pleasant, Florence and John Rogacki, of Mt Pleasant, Terri Quashnock and Enro of Mt Pleasant and sister-in law, Debbie Houseman Sterner from Jacobs Creek. At the request of Kathy there will be no Visitation or Services. Arrangements are under direction of SLATER-REGA FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC 730 W. Main Street Mt Pleasant.
