Kenneth R. Eutsey, Sr. 86 of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Ken was born October 9, 1932 in White , PA the son of the late Abraham and Ruth Keefer Eutsey. Ken was a Korean war veteran serving with the Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 446 and the VFW Post 3368 Mt. Pleasant, the NRA and the Walworth Bowling League, he was formerly employed by the Walworth Valve Co., Brown Boveri, Volkswagon and Eutsey Paving. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children, Kenneth R. Eutsey, Jr. (Melinda) of Acme, Genene Oakes of GA and Daniel Eutsey (Kathy) of Ruffsdale; grandchildren, Tina Blystone (Gary), Megan DiGuglielmo (Ron) , Jennifer Sotelo (Alex), Bruce Eutsey (Deana) Jason Oakes (Rachel), Jesse Oakes (Alisha) and Emily Showman (Patrick); 14 Great grandchildren; siblings, Vivian Konrad (Jim) of Akron, OH, Grover Eutsey of Niles, OH, Genevieve Cogar of TN, Ruby Muko of Mt. Pleasant and Vernon Eutsey (Lesa) of Acme; sisters- in -law, Sandy Eutsey and Marlene Eutsey; also, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Baldwin Eutsey in 1998, a daughter, Patricia Eutsey, son-in-law, David Oakes, brothers, Abraham "Al" Eutsey, Gay Eutsey, Judd Eutsey and infant brothers, Herbert and Wilbert Eutsey and sister, Dorothy Eutsey; brothers-in-law, George Konrad, Demma Cogar and Richard "Sarge" Muko; sisters-in-law, Althea Eutsey, and Shirley Eutsey. Family and friends are invited from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 10AM Saturday with Rev. Mark Werner Officiating. Interment with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 446 and VFW Post 3368 Mt. Pleasant will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg.
