Kimberly Sue Newill

Kimberly Sue Newill, 49 of Champion,passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Excela Heath, Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

Kim was born December 14, 1967 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late George and Mary Hollis. Kim was a 1986 graduate of Connellsville Area High School, where she was a member of the high school marching band and formerly attended the Acme Open Bible Church. Kim was employed as a CNA for Home Instead, was a member of the Slovak Club, Mt. Pleasant and former member of the Shaft Club, Mt. Pleasant and the American Legion Auxiliary, Donegal. Kim was an avid Steeler and Pirate fan, loving her Black and Gold.

Surviving are her sons; Mark James Newill of CA, Brian Robert Miller of Mt. Pleasant and Zachary Donald Miller of Champion and their father, Robert Brian Miller of Indianhead; boyfriend, Allen Bacron; brothers, Gib Snyder of Jersey City, NJ, Ken and Gene Hollis and a sister, Rose Mary Cramer (Rusty) of Mt. Pleasant; also surviving are nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Nicole Miller a brother, Donny Ray Snyder and step father, Lloyd Snyder.

Family and friends are invited from 4 to 8PM Friday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Saturday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant where services will be held at 10:30AM Sunday with Rev. Russell Dunaway officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
