Laura B. Barnes Wiltrout, 94 of White, PA passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Upton's Comfort Cottage, Normalville.
Laura was born November 15, 1922 in White the daughter of the late William E. and Trissa Ritenour Barnes. Laura was an active member of the Mt. Salem Church and is remembered as supplying quilts to family and friends, but most importantly as being a kind, loving, caring and forgiving person.
Surviving are her children, Bernetha Kelley (Thomas) of Connellsville, Velda Plesz (Ronald) of Scottdale, Wayne Wiltrout (Penny) of Stoystown, David Wiltrout (Phyllis) Mt. Pleasant, Bonnie Kucera (Edward) of Charlotte, NC, Beverly Cribbs (Stanley) of Derry and Deborah Bulebosh (James) of Latrobe; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson and a daughter-in-law, Gerry Wiltrout of North Braddock.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Wiltrout, Sr. in 1992, a son, William W. Wiltrout, Jr, infant daughters, Grace and Becky Wiltrout, brothers, Myers, Henry and William Barnes and sisters, Dorothy Barnes, Mary Ruth Eutsey, Sadie Pletcher, Martha Christman, Mildred Sanner, Anna McDonald, Goldie Huston and Vergie Domasky.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Laura to Uption's Comfort Cottage 544 Buchanan Road Normanville, PA 15469.
Family and friends are invited from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8PM Wednesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held Thursday at 10AM with Rev, Lee Maley officiating. Interment will follow in the Stouffer Cemetery, White.
