Lida D. Dunn

Lida D. Dunn 81 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Amber House Mt. Pleasant. Lida was born November 30, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late Eston and May Long King. Lida was a 1954 graduate of Hurst High School and a 1957 graduate of Seton Hill College. She was employed as a nurse for Westmoreland Manor until her retirement and a longtime member of the Order of Eastern Star, holding membership since 1969. Surviving are her husband, William R. Dunn, Jr.; children, Eston Dunn of FL, William Dunn (Francine) of N. Huntingdon and Brian Dunn (Tammy) of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Elijah, Faith and Lexi; sisters, Edith R. Shipley of Ft. Wayne, IN, Sara Shumar (Russell) of Mt. Pleasant and Genevieve Snyder (Floyd) of Stahlstown; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lida was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Clark. Friends are invited from 3 to 8PM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017 with Rev. Brian Geesaman officiating..
