Lloyd Dempsey Overly

Lloyd Dempsey Overly, Jr., 59 of Mount Pleasant passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. Lloyd was born April 17, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant the oldest son of the late Lloyd Demsey Overly, Sr. and Virginia Krepps Overly. Lloyd was a Veteran of the US Navy, worked at the Limewood Corp. in Boyers, PA and also at Mobile Concepts by Scotti, as well as other jobs in the Mt. Pleasant Area. Lloyd was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Overly (Cory Konieczny) of Mt. Pleasant, a son, Joshua L. Overly of Eagleville, PA, four grandchildren, twins, Caleb and Corey, who were born on Lloyd's birthday, Aydyn and Cassidy. Six brothers, Douglas Overly (Sherry) of Boyers, Dennis Overly (Betty) and Rick Overly (Becky) of Butler, Dean Overly (Ronda) of Harrisville, Brian Overly (Valerie) of Slippery Rock and Shawn Overly (Tanya) of Boyers; three sisters, Deborah Campbell (Ron) of Karns City, Donna Mitchell (Anderson) of Slippery Rock and Marcy Thomas (Michael) of Tacoma WA; his former wife and the mother of his children, Sherry McCracken Overly of Mt. Pleasant, his companion, Brenda Dunlap of Mt. Pleasant, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by a son, Jason D. Overly, who passed away Nov. 20, 2015 and his second wife, Linda Lobov Overly who passed away on Nov. 29, 2011. At Lloyd's request, funeral arrangements will be private.
