Lucille A Gazda

Lucille A. Gazda, 83 of Mt Pleasant. PA passed away peacefully Friday April 17, 2026 at her home with her family by her side. Lucille, was born in Canonsburg, Pa. a daughter of the late Andrew and Bessie Sloka Borek. she was a longtime employee of Brown's Candy Kitchen. Mt Pleasant. She was a member of the former Transfiguration Catholic Church and St Pius X RC Church Mt Pleasant. Surviving are her children; a son Joseph and wife Marcy of Ruffsdale; daughter, Christina of Mt.Pleasant; grandchildren; Kyle Gazda and Dale Gazda (Sara Mears) and sister-in-law Rosemarie Radzilowski. Also surviving are nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and cousins; special friends who became her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Joseph "Moe" Gazda and brothers and sisters in law. and Michael Dillon, fiance' of Christina.Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at SLATER- REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 730 W. Main Street Mt Pleasant. Parting prayers will be held at The Funeral Home at 9:30am on Thursday April 23, 2026 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St Pius X Roman Catholic Church.
