Margaret J. Schaeffer

Margaret J. Schaeffer, 93 of Hunker passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Upton's Country Comfort Home, Normalville. Margaret was born May 1, 1925 in East Huntindon Twp. the daughter of the late George and Verdie Dodson Gilpin. Margaret was formerly employed as a waitress at the Garden Center Restaurant, New Stanton and was a member of the New Stanton United Methodist Church. Surviving are her children, Sharon Greenawalt of Mt. Pleasant and Tammi Roach of Hunker; grandchildren, David P. Greenawalt, Shannon Beasley, Patrick Biller, Ashley Tlumac, Sara Maccarelli and Jesse Johnston; Great Grandchildren, Amelia and Quinn Beasley, Jacob and Alexis Tlumac, Zoey Maccarelli, Evelyn and Alyvia Johnston; sisters, Gail Myers of New Stanton, Sylvia Jane Liberty of Hunker and Judy Gafney of OH; In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Schaeffer in 1988, a daughter Lorrie Biller, a grandson Christopher Biller and brothers, George, Philip and Billy Gilpin. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11AM to 1PM Thursday at the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 1PM with Pastor Timothy Luchon officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs.
