Margaret A. Schmitz

Margaret A. Schmitz 78 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday September 27, 2015 at Eicher's Personal Care Home, Normalville. Margaret was born July 10, 1937 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late Maximilian and Sarah Guzik Boshinsky. Margaret attended Hurst High School, was formerly employed at Frick Hospital, Joytogs Sewing Co. and Connellsville Sportswear. She also ran a children's Day Care at her home in association with Seton Hill College and was a special nanny to Megan, Jennifer and Brian Little. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Charles E. "Ed" Schmitz; children, Donald Schmitz and wife Sharon of Gibsonia, Patti Murphy and husband Larry, Edwin Schmitz and Patty Bradley and Connie Gentry and husband Shawn, all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Rachel and Nicole Schmitz and Natasha and Jack Gentry; a brother John Boshinsky of Everson and a sister, Mary Jane Dombrosky of Mt. Pleasant; a special niece, Carol Wisnewski and nieces and nephews. To honor Margaret's request, private services will be held for the family.
