Marie(Grossi) Beran quietly passed away on Friday October 27, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born one of nine children to the late Joseph and Caroline Grossi. She was a member of the St. Pius X Church community and also a loyal member of the dissolved Ladies of Mt Carmel Society at St. Pius X. Marie was a loving wife to Amos J. Beran for 32 years, who predeceased her in 1979, also predeceased are four brothers, Carmen, Anthony, John, Joseph and three sisters, Teresa Deemer, Margaret Simko and Anne Fabrizio all of NY. She is survived by a brother Ramon Grossi of NY. She is also survived by two loving children, a son Robert J. Beran and wife, Linda and Debra Ann Hawse and her husband Thomas. She was gifted with grandchildren, Richard J. Beran and wife Candace, Cheyenne Beran and Roman J. Beran. Prior to her retirement of 24 years at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Marie worked at the Ann Fogerty Sewing Factory, COGO's Mini Mart and N&N, store all in Mt. Pleasant. Marie loved being surrounded by her family and friends, watching the Steelers, shopping, gardening, reading and a good book and anything to do with good weather and sunshine. A private family visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC 730 W. MAIN STREET MT PLEASANT where a blessing service will be held at 12pm.
