Marie H. Posta

Marie H. Posta 92 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday October 27, 2016 at Weatherwood Manor, Greensburg. Marie was born October 11, 1924 in Brenizer, PA the daughter of the late John and Hazel Vylet Precosky. Marie was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, life member of VFW Post 3368 and American Legion Post 446 Ladies Auxiliaries, past member of the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Authority, and Latrobe Hospital volunteer. Marie was a retired LPN from Westmoreland Manor with over 20 years of service. Along with her husband Babe, they were loving caretakers for many family members in their home. Surviving are her children, Cindy Harr (Bill Bernardi) of Latrobe and Sandy Gaskey and husband Gene of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Jared Harr (Diana), Michael Harr (Monica), Bart Gaskey (Tracey), Gina Conti (Andrew) and Patrick Harr (Amy); great grandchildren, Alexander, Jacob, Katherine, Mary, Vincent, Connor, Andrew, Aaron, Garret, Anneliese, Alaina and Evan; sisters, Mildred Sebek and Hazel Macey both of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Lloyd G. "Babe" Posta, brothers, Louis and James Precosky and a sister, Emily Vaculik. Friends are invited from 2 to 8PM Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where a blessing service will be held at 9:30AM Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in the St. Pius X Catholic Church with Rev. Richard J.
