Marla K. Vinkler, 65, of Ruffsdale, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Excela Health Frick Hospital with her loving family near her side.
Marla was born Aug. 23, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Dorothy McCloy Coddington and the late Robert Coddington. Marla was a 1969 Graduate of Hempfield High School , a member of the New Stanton United Methodist Church where she was a volunteer in the office and active in many church activities. Marla was formerly employed by the office of Dr. Efren Leonida, Mt. Pleasant retiring as the office manager.
Surviving are her children, David Vinkler (Sharon) of Greensburg and Stacey Marto of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren; Ashley, Tyler, Savanna, Addison, Nathaniel, Ciara, Christopher and Nicholas; sisters, Sharon Wilkins (David) of Jeannette and Joyce Ferrarini of Greensburg: also brothers and sisters in law and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the New Stanton United Methodist Church, where services will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Bane officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Bullskin Township.
