Mary O. Fencil, 86, of Bullskin Township, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Born January 24, 1933, in Flatwoods, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Riggin Dean. She was a member of the Church of the Open Door, Connellsville, was a 1951 graduate of Uniontown High School, retired from Shop-n-Save Supermarket and was a volunteer for the former Meals on Wheels program, Mt. Pleasant. Surviving are her children, George Raymond Fencil (Valerie) of Dunbar Twp, Ruth Ann Burd (Thomas), of Connellsville and Beverly Fencil of Scottdale; seven grandchildren: Davina Burd, Thomas Burd, Kristina Cossell (Christopher), Tyler Burd (Megan), Malinda Fencil, Mary Keefer (Matt), and Bentley Fencil; ten great grandchildren, Aubrey Burd, Zachary Cossell, Jonathon Cossell, Nicholas Cossell, Abigail Cossell, Peyton Burd, Brantley Riggin, McKenzie Keefer, Mia Keefer and Miles Keefer and a brother James M. Dean (Clarice) of Yuma, AZ In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank G. Fencil, Jr. in 2003, two sisters and four brothers. The family would like to thank Allegheny Health Network Hospice for their care of Mary during her illness. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 to 8PM Friday at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 West Main Street, Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday with Pastor Harry Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
